THE APPLICATION OF PRESSURE INDEX(PI) CONTROL TECHNOLOGY IN MENGGULIN SAND STONE RESERVOIR

The oil reservoir of Menggulin Oilfield is thinner, so the main productive zone is single and interlayer adjusting is impossible. That made the contradiction of plane in oil reservoir stressly. Profile control is one of the major measures in water controlling and high and stable yields. The Pressure index control technique, which was recommended in 1995, guided the reservoir’s water control work scientifically. This made the stable production period elongation and ensured the reservoir to produce sustain and valid. Till 1999, the profile control measures were implemented 11 cycle, 279 wells, which cumulative production oil 10.89×104t, each well 390t, and producing water reduced 35.6×104m3. The effect of cumulative production and water reduced was obvious.
