DEVELOPMENT AND FIELD APPLICATION OF ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE SCREW PUMP PUMPING SYSTEM

  • Screw pump is an ideal artificial lift mode for producing fluid with high viscosity and solids. In order to overcome the technical restriction of the screw pump driven on the ground, the electric submersible screw pump pumping system has been developed and fabricated, which integrates the advantages of the rodless pumping technique, downhole electric motor drive and screw pump. This paper illustrates the technical features of the system, the technical key, the composition, the working principle and the main specification of the system, as well as the requirements when selecting well. This paper also introduces the field application of the first set of electric submersible screw pump pumping system. Research and field application indicates that the system has provided more broad room for the application of the screw pump.
