RESEARCH AND APPLICATION OF PROFILE CONTROL AND OIL DISPLACEMENT AGENT IN DEEP RESERVOIR

  • As one of the important measures for tapping the residual oil potentials of thick layers, the technique of profile control and oil displacement in deep reservoir plays more and more important roles during the later water injection development stage of an oilfield. On the basis of investigating the relevant techniques, this paper analyzes the development and application status of the 4 kinds of profile control and oil displacement agents like gel, microorganism, precipitable inorganic salt and clay grain, indicates their applicable scope and characteristics, compares the advantages and disadvantages of the 4 common deep profile control agents like bulk weak gel (BG), colloidal dispersion gel (CDG), xanthan gum(XC) and precrosslinked gel grain (PG), and analyzes the screening method of crosslinked agent of gel type of profile control and oil displacement agent. This paper also analyzes the development potential and direction of the profile control and oil displacement agent used in deep reservoir.
