STUDY ON INFLUENCE OF TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE ON SLURRY RHEOLOGY

  • Temperature and pressure are two key factors affecting the slurry rheology. Four types of slurry with certain representativeness are selected to measure their rheological properties under different temperature and pressure. The influence of temperature and pressure on slurry rheological curve, flow pattern, rheological parameter and hydraulics is analyzed on the basis of test data. The study indicates that the influence of temperature and pressure on the slurry rheology must be considered in the actual cementing design. The influence of temperature on the slurry rheology is much bigger than that of pressure.
