FREQUENCY AND ACOUSTIC INTENSITY OF DEMULSIFICATION OF ULTRA SONIC WAVE

  • This paper studies two factors affecting the demulsification and dehydration effect of ultrasonic wave:frequency and acoustic intensity. Research results indicates:the frequency of ultrasonic wave has little influence on the demulsification. and the optimum frequency is determined as 21 kHz; yet, the acoustic intensity can have great effect on the demulsification and dehydration for different oil samples. For example, the optimum dimensionless acoustic intensity for oil on the ground of Dongxin is 0.065-0.108, while for oil in Yan block 16 of Dongxin is 0.108, for oil in Gudaosancai is 0.374.
