  • The viscosity of mixed PVP/SDBS solution as well as mixed PAM/SDBS solution was measured. it was found that when the concentration of PVP is constant, the SDBS can increase the viscosity of PVP/SDBS solution, yet, when the concentration of PAM is constant, the SDBS has little influence on the viscosity of PAM/SDBS solution. This paper preliminarily explains the above phenomenon and the significance of its application in the field.
