VISCOMETER AND ITS PRELIMINARY TEST AT A HIGH SHEAR RATE OF DRILLING FLUID
This paper presents the working principle, structure, characteristics of viscometer at a high shear rate of drilling fluid. The shear rate of the viscometer can be 104~105/s obtained from the preliminary test. Since the measured real viscosity is more accurate than ηk calculated from the Casson flow equation, so that the viscometer will have the vast prospects for the future application.
