DETERMINATION OF RATIONAL SUBMERGENCE DEPTH OF OIL WELL PUMP

Every field in China has its own referenced submergence depth for oil well pumps, some of them are irrational, and have resulted in a certain waste. This paper discusses the optimizing design of two kinds of submergence depth by taking the system efficiency and the economic benefit as the objective functions. The calculated results indicate that the submergence depth determined by the optimizing method can obviously improve the system efficiency and the economic benefit.
