APPLICATION OF COPPER COLUMN MEASURING PRESSURE DEVICE IN FORMATION FRACTURING WITH HIGH ENERGY GAS

  • The prerequisite of frcaturing formation with high energy gas is to reasonably design and control the peak pressure. Different from P-t testing instrument, the copper column measuring pressure device, with the characteristics of simple,visual and so on, is used extensively to measure the peak pressure when fracturing formation with high energy gas. The newly designed copper column measuring pressure device is sealed reliably,and thus ensures the proper compressing of the copper column. Therefore,means of it,peak pressure can be measured more successfully and accurately. This paper analyzes the factors influencing the peak pressure,presents the disposal method to the measured pressure and the problems need to note. This paper also analyzes the application result of the new type copper column measuring pressure device,and concludes that the measured pressure is believable.
