  • After more than 50 year development,casing damaged wells have accounted for one tenth of total well number in Shengli oil field. A pilot test of comprehensive control of casing damage was launched jointly research and production organizations in 1993. In three years ten important achievements have been obtained. This paper presents these ten achievements and their economic effects,analyzes the existing problems and proposes recommendations for future comprehensive control.
