  • Well Gao 160-Ceping 38 is a sidetracked horizontal well section-milled in φ139.7mm casing in Daqing oil field. The lab and field tests for drilling fluid system of sidetracked horizontal well were conducted based on the formation features of Daqing oil field. A drilling fluid system suitable for sidetracked horizontal well was selected through evaluation of lab test, which has good rheology and inhibition. A new anti-seize lubricant RF and shielded blocking agent were developed. The field test showed that the drilling fluid system can meet the requirement of drilling engineering and cutting carrying to assure the borehole quality as well a smooth operation in logging and cementing.
