STUDY OF HEAVY OIL LIFTING IN INCLINED WELL BY STEAM JET PUMP

  • Steam jet pump is a kind of oil producing device, which uses steam to supply energy for oil lifting and improve the temperature of oil in well bore. Based on the basic principles of thermodynamics and hydromechanics, the authors studied the regularity that the steamflows in the jet pump. The regularities include relations of excreta pressure of the pump and quantity of steam injection in different steam humidity and pressure under wed and different spray nozzles of pump. The conclusions are:when the formation pressure is certain, the pump discharge pressure changes little with the variation of steam quality; the more dry the steam, the more the liquid is produced; the more shallower the well, the more less the discharge pressure is needed, the more less the steam needed to lift the same volume of liquid. It is technically feasible to use steam jet pump to lift viscous crude oil. Design of using steam jet pump to lift viscous crude oil can be conducted based on the well bore pressure and temperature calculation. The research results may be the guide for practical production.
