RESEARCH AND APPLICATION OF SAND CONTROL TECHNIQUE WITH FLUOBORIC ACID

  • ?During normal production of an oil well, it is often accompanied by the yielding of clay or the mixture of silt and clay, which deposits in the well bore to bury the productive interval or suspends in the yielding fluid in the form of suspension to result in the seizure of the deep well pump and the frequent well servicing. The conventional sand control method usually can not work for this kind of formation, therefore, based on the special mechanism of the fluoboric acidizing, a kind of sand control technique with fluoboric acid was studied and tested in 2 sand producing wells, and had achieved better sand control effect and obvious economic benefit.
