DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF COMBINED PERFORATION TECHNOLOGY

  • Combined perforation technology is a technique which combines perforation completion and high grade energy gas fracturing in one unit. Both perforation and fracturing can be finished in one operation by use of flaming speed difference of explosives to perforate casing and fracture formations. The paper describes the principle of combined perforation, the structure of the tool, the operation design and its application in Daqing Oil Field. The field results show that the technology is applicable and highly efficient and can be used to improve production. It simplifies existing operation procedures, and the cost also be decreased. It has good prospects for future expansion applications. After running above mentioned operation in a well, hydra-fracturing can be carried out. Since the formation breakdown pres sure has been decreased, the hydra-fracturing effect could be better.
