PRODUCTION METHOD SELECTION AND APPLICATION FOR CHENGDAO OILFIELD

Chengdao Offshore Oilfield of Shengli is put into production in 1992. So far it has production capacity of million tones of crude oil. This oilfield faces the sea with mainland. Based on the reservoir behaviors and off shore conditions of Chengdao Oilfield, this paper discusses the principle for determining production method, analyses the adaptation level of each method for off shore production. Flowing and artificial lift, which includes the electric submersible pump and progressive cavity pump, are used as the production method of Chengdao Oilfield. The production practices of 102 wells show that the using production method is correct. It provides a success experience for development of neritic oilfield in Bohai.
