  • The paper describes the mechanism to control proppant backflow volume by use of short cut fiber glass reinforced plastics (FRP). A micro-mechanic model was built to study the proppant slide movement. It presents the test results of the short cut fiber glass,and the best parameters for the short cut fiber to control proppant backflow volume are also evaluated.
