STUDY ON NUMERICAL SIMULATION FOR 3-DIMENSIONAL FRACTURE PROPAGA-TION IN HYDRAULIC FRACTURING

  • Based on the analysis on the 3-dimensional propagation model at home and abroad, we have worked out a new 3-dimensional fracture model, which considers the effects of mechanical parameters of the payzone, the cover and the bottom. It can simulate the stress distribution mode and fracture propagation before and after fracturing. We have also worked out a computer software and made many calculation for field examples based on the said model.
