  • This paper points out the application limitation of the modified isochronal testing in accordance with the theoretical analysis results and practical data of gas wells, and then presents the conception of ’ideal’ absolute open flow, and gives an introduction on the new modified isochronal testing, which is favorable to reduce testing expenses and decrease gas consumption. An example is used to demonstrate the new method is effective in practical application.
