Abstract
In the purpose of remedy of severe lost circulation without return at long intervals, squeeze techniques were brought in light for application. The composltion of the squeeze fluid is of diesel oil, lime, cement, calcium clay, QS-2, DF-1, and asbestos fibers. No thickening and setup occur before the entry of the squeeze fluld into formations and they are with very good fluidity. After the fluid is squeezed into formation, they lose their liquid content quickly and setup into a plug with good strength. The squeeze fluid should be prepared in advance. With the drill string in the hole, the fluid should be circulated against the formation with an operation pressure higher than circulation pressure. Practices at 5 wells gave satisfied results.
