NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF JET PUMP IN VISCOUS OIL PRODUCTION

  • Based on testing data of jet pump for high-viscosity fluid,this paper analyzes the effects of fluid viscosity on jet pump peformance applying jet flow theory,and studies the parameters effecting jet performance such as nozzle loss coefficient K1’and throat diffusion loss coefficient K34.The numerical simulation computer programm is developed for viscous oil production using jet pump.It lays a foundation for optimum design and management of jet pumping well.
