  • Nowdays thread compounds are not only requested for its properties of lubrication and sealing,but its safty to the environment.The API RP 5A3 products are not satisfied with its properties of lubrication and sealing,though it decreases the pollution.CATTS101,a special anaerobic colloid based thread compound,was developed jointly by The Oil Tubing Research Center and Tubemasters USA,without lead,heavy metal,toxic and abiotic degraded ingredients.The tests of tubing and casing evaluation and gas tightness indicate that its lubrication and threads sticking resistance are as the same as convertional API compounds,while its gas tightness is much better.
