FEASIBILITY STUDY ON AIR INJECTION FOR ENHANCING OIL RECOVERY OF LIGHT OIL RESERVOIR AFTER WATER INJECTION

Air injection has many mechanisms and functions of enhancing oil recovery for light oil reservoirs that are in development phase of secondary or tertiary oil recovery.Especially for deeper oil reservoir,economical and technological effectiveness will be obtained in use of air injection.This paper gives an introduction on indoor testing,numerical simulation,field application and pilot test design of air injection,and discusses its effectiveness in enhancing oil recovery.
