BIT SELECTION WITH LOG DATA

The bit selection is a main problem in drilling.The rock mechanical properties are important in bit selection and preparation drilling parameters.This paper gives a mathematic model of predicting rock mechanical property by the plastic mechanical theory with the log data.It can be predicted the rock drillability of cone bit,PDC bit,plastic factor,hardness,shearing strength etc.and the continue profile can be created,so these parameters have important guidance to drilling.
