SHORT RADIUS HORIZONTAL RADIAL BRONCH WELL IN GRANITE

This paper introduces a short radius branch well has been drilled in the CFD 1-6-2D old well,which drilled by Bohai Petroleum Coporation.Making use of short radius horizontal drilling and sidetracking techniques,the radial branch well was drilled in granite formation that have 34 meters of total footage,4-78 meters of minimum curvature radius,29meters of average curvature radius,59 degree per 30 meters,93 degree per 30 meters of maximum drop rate and 118.2 degree per 30 meters of maximum dogleg.Also some technique feature and measures about radial branch well are introduced.
