DELAYED-SET SLURRY SYSTEM USED IN REPAIRING WELL OF CASING DAMAGED

  • In damaged casings well, running in new casings in old cased hole (or removedcasing’s hole)is one of methods to repeir damaged casing well. It is difficult to guarantee the cementing quantity when using conventional cementing because narrow annulus between casings. The slurries are injected into well before running in casings with closed bottom end and then running casing make the slurry be squeezed into annulus to improve cementing bonding in small annulus. The key of operating mentioned above are adjusting slurry properties and estimating length of cementing. In Changqing oil field, several wells, in which 400~600 meters bonding length, had been operated.
