METHOD FOR CALCULATING REASONABLE SUBMERGENCE DEPTH IN PUMPING LIVE CRUDE OIL

For the given pumping unit, sucker rod and pump system, taking the coordination between liquid supply capability of reservoir and liquid discharge capability of production system as design principle, this paper develops the relative equation of pump efficiency with submergence depth according to the relation between stroke loss and submergence depth, and then presents the quantitative selection method of submergence depth of pumping well.
