DRILLING AND COMPLETION FLUIDS TECHNOLOGY FOR RESERVOIR PROTECTION IN EAST SICHUANG

  • On the basis of the geological characters of Carboniferous system fracture-pore type reservoir that is main gas pay zone in Sichuang gas field and damage mechanism of mud to reservoir, it was analyzed that high mud weight cause the potential damage to pay zone. The measurement is made for drilling and completion fluids to protect reservoir from damage. The drilling and completion fluid are optimized by means of shielding and temporary blocking technic to protect pay zone. Through 11 well’s application on site,it shows that total gas production increase 3. 6 times than one before acid treatment.
