SELECTION AND APPLICATION OF GAS LIFT RECOVERY METHOD IN TRIASSIC RESERVOIR OF LUNNAN OILFIELD——REPLY TO THE PAPER OF DOU HONGEN

  • Gas lift has been used to recovery oil in Triassic reservoir of Lunnan oilfield since 1991. So far a gas compressor station has been built, 20 oil wells have applied gas lift method,and normal oil production is made all along. However,someone thinks that the optimum oil recovery mode of Lunnan oilfield should be hydraulic piston pump. In view of this problem,this paper reiterates the principle of selection of mechanical oil recovery method,discusses the basic method to predict the production feasibility of artifical lift oil well applying coordinate principle of delivery and discharge. The results obtained from this coordinate method coincide with the actual production data. Furthermore, this paper analyses the principal foundation of selection of gas lift,compares the feasibility of gas lift with that of hydraulic piston pump,clarifys the probems about the testing technology and gas injection pressure of gas lift,and provides three suggestions for the further improvement of oil development result of this reservoir.
