STUDY AND TEST OF ENHANCED OIL RECOVERY TECHNIQUE USING LOW - FREQUENCY PULSE WAVE

  • This paper discusses theorically the technical performance,action mechanism,fracture effect on formation core,effect on improvement of pore structure and action on fluid of low-frequency pulse wave,makes indoor and field tests.The enhanced oil recovery mechanism of low-frequency pulse wave lies mainly in that it may produce fracture near wellbore zone,dredge formation,improve distribution state of fluid in rock pore,and lower oil viscosity etc.Field test results show that this technique is useful for scale removal,viscosity reduction,plugging relief and stimulation of production and injection of oil and/or water wells,and that it has a vast application prospect because of small investmenst,quick returns and simple technology.It is chosen as excellent project of production stimulation of oil wells by dissemination centre of new technology of CNPC in 1994.
