MECHANICAL ANALYSIS OF POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT MOTOR WITH SINGLE BEND SUB UNDER STEARABLE DRILLING MODE AND ITS USE

  • The kinematic analysis of PDM(positive displacement motor) with bent sub under rotary mode driven by rotary table has been done.The absolute velocity and accelerate and its effects to drilling operation are given.The theoretical wellbore diameters under rotary working mode using rotary table is abtain.This paper first presented K-H-V kinematic mode about self rotary and anti-clockwise revolution of PDM,according to this theory,it’s shown that the break out torque which would bring risk during drilling will be produced on the bend sub in rotary mode.The conclusions about the PDM under rotary mode will be useful to guide the horizontal and multiple well drilling operations.
