  • This paper presents a method for determining the opening points and shutting-down points of travelling valve and standing valve on the basis of downhole pump card,and quantitatively calculating the stroke loss caused by leakage of travelling valve,leakage of standing valve,gas effect,liquid supply deficiency,dropout of plunger etc..The field data of 283 wells from 5 production departments of Huabei oilfield indicate that the average error is within 15%.
