STUDY AND APPLICATION OF THE THEORY ABOUT THE HIGH VISCOUS OIL PRODUCTION USING THE ELECTRIC HEAT PRODUCED BY THE POWER FREQUENCY SKIN EFFECT

  • The heat quantity produced by the power frequency skin effect of alternating current(AC) is theoretically studied and calculated.Compared with direct current(DC),AC is advantageous to the oil production applying the electrothermal rod.The above study lays a theoretical foundation for the design and manufacture of electrothermal rod.The feasibility to recovery the high viscous oil using electrothermal rod is verified in field tests of some wells in Zaoyuan oilfield of Dagang.
