DISCUSSION ON THE EQUAL-STRENGTH DESIGN PRINCIPLE OF HOLLOW SUCKER ROD STRING

  • This paper discusses the equal strength design principle of hollow rod string is around the production technology of sucker rod pumps.The minimum thread diameter to surmount the stress concentration is rationally determined using field data.It can meet the needs of equal strength,maximize the allowable setting depth of hollow rod,and minimize the consumed steels.The reasonable diameter of the coupling is obtained simultaneously,and the assorted tubing diameter is minimized.
