THE LABORATORY STUDY OF SLURRY AND MUD ADDITIVE

  • Slurry displacement efficiency is an important stage to improve cementing quality,but there is not any methods,which can displace mud,especially mud cake from borehole completely before now.The imcompletly displacement with effects the bonding strengh of cement mantle.The GSN additive has been development because slurry displacement is not enough cleaning the mud and mud cake from borehole.The GSN’s main mechanism is that exists in the mud cake during drilling,which can be interactive with the ionic of slurry during cementing,so improving cement-formation interface bonding strengh.This paper praliminarily discusses the GSH’s mechanism and shows it’s applicable on the basis of the laboratory study.
