Technology of continuous monitoring and automatic measurement and adjustment about chemical flooding

  • To improve the success rate of separate injection in chemical flooding, and solve the long period of measurement and adjustment in a single well, few recorded data, and significant occasionality of data, the technology of continuous monitoring and automatic measurement and adjustment in chemical flooding was studied. An automatic measurement and adjustment flow regulator with built-in electrical systems such as data acquisition, execution control, and arithmetic processing has been developed. The process pipe string has been formed by integrating cable packers, preset steel pipe cable, wellhead sealing device and ground control system. The automatic measurement and adjustment flow regulator is tripped with the pipe string to the injection interval, and two-way interaction with the ground control system is realized through the preset steel pipe cable. Real monitoring of the downhole data such as the layered injection volume, the pressure before the nozzle, and the pressure after the nozzle is realized, and the layered injection volume is adjusted automatically according to the preset instructions. The technology has been tested in five wells, and the maximum running period is over 500 d. This technology realizes continuous monitoring of downhole data and automatic adjustment of the layered injection volume. The time of measurement and adjustment in a single well is reduced from 2 to 3 days to less than 2 hours, and the success rate of layered injection is above 90%, which is higher than 30% in the original technology. The measurement and adjustment efficiency and success rate of separate injection have been improved.
