A pressure monitoring method integrating multi-source information in middle and deep formations in Bohai Sea

  • Formation pressure is a key issue affecting the safety of drilling engineering. The traditional under-compacted formation pressure monitoring method is affecting by manual operation factors and well drilling tools, resulting in large systematic errors and low monitoring accuracy. Through the generalization and description of historical well data and logging, drilling data obtained while drilling, a library of analysis process parameters and result parameters based on historical sources was established. Eliminate the influence of the data generating abnormal noise through analyzing the rock breaking efficiency of drill bit. Establish the mapping characteristics of well pressure relationship through analyzing gas logging response characteristics. Establish a constraint model on three types of relationship through finely characterizing well dynamic pressure. And finally, establish a pressure analysis workflow integrating multi-source information from geology and engineering. The application practice in 32 wells from 2017 to 2020 shows that the prediction accuracy of this method can reach more than 94%, which proves that there are favorable practicability and promotion value for this technique.
