Comparative study on the completion and fracturing technologies used for tight-gas horizontal wells in Sulige Gas Field

  • Sulige Gas Field of Changqing Oilfield Company is a typical tight sandstone gas field, where horizontal well development technology has been applied to a certain scale by virtue of technological research since 2008. In the early stage, due to the technological restriction, the open hole completion and one-trip hydraulic jet staged fracturing technology is mainly adopted to meet the field demands. In the late stage, in order to improve the single-well production rate of tight-gas horizontal wells, the completion mode is optimized to form the cementing, completion and combined bridge plug and multi-cluster perforation fracturing technology, which improves the fracturing stimulation effect significantly. Two completion modes were comparatively analyzed from the aspects of characteristics and application situations, their development effects in the last ten years were quantitatively evaluated, and the experience of horizontal well development in Sulige tight gas field was summarized, so as to provide the basis for the development of Sulige Gas Field in the late stage and the development of similar gas reservoirs at home.
