Application of the coiled tubing based temporary well plugging and cementing technology in the Fuling Shale Gas Field

  • After fracturing test evaluation of shale gas development well is performed, the production test conditions are not satisfied for the time being due to actual field situations. And in order to satisfy the need of subsequent drilling construction of the same platform, it is necessary to carry out the coiled tubing based temporary well plugging and cementing operation. In this paper, the coiled tubing based temporary well plugging and cementing technology was optimized and improved from the aspects of bridge type selection, setting mode, slurry system, injection and displacement process and circulating well flushing process to deal with its technical difficulties. And in this way, a set of mature coiled tubing based temporary well plugging and cementing technology was developed. It has been successfully applied in 5 wells of Fuling working area, e.g. Well JYX-6HF, and its application results are satisfactory.
