Acidification simulation for inhomogeneous pore type sandstone oil reservoir

  • Acidification serves as one of the important measures for yield-increasing transformation for oil and gas reservoirs. To simulate characteristics of real wormhole-like corrosion structure of sandstone substrate in acidification conditions, acidification simulation research is developed in stratum level, and a refined mathematical model for acidification of radial sandstone oil reservoir is inferred. SGeMS geological software is adopted to build a porosity model in normal distribution, and programming and solution are also conducted in combination with Matlab software. The calculation results show that, calculation results of the model and conventional models are the same in homogeneous porous medium. In heterogeneous porous medium, the higher standard deviation factor is, the more explicit wormhole-like structure will be. Lowered skin factor is in direction proportion to sensitivity of liquid injection time to standard deviation factor. Though standard deviation factor imposes limited influence on porosity distribution upon acidification, determination of a proper standard deviation factor is of important significance to guidance for construction optimization.
