Application of tracer in productivity evaluation for horizontal wells under segmented volume fracturing

  • It is not easy to test and calculate produced liquid of segments of horizontal wells upon segmented volume fracturing. Optimization research is conducted on tracer testing technology through analysis of the principles of measurement by tracer method, and the measuring method of using tracer to evaluate contribution rate of produced liquid of segments of horizontal wells is developed. The method is applied to testing for Shutan well 2x under tight oil volume fracturing in Shulu Depression, and 7 different types of tracers are selected and injected to 7 fracturing layers. 246 samples are obtained at different times through analysis, and contribution rate of produced liquid of 7 layers are obtained, providing a new method for optimization design and productivity evaluation under volume fracturing.
