Study on propagation law of hydro wave in water injection formation

  • Formation stress wave is stimulated by the hydro wave near water injection wells,as well as the propagation law of stress wave in fluid saturated porous media provides theoretical basis for the technology of water injection with hydro wave.On the basis of the continuum mechanics,taking the damping effect of fluid on rock matrix into consideration,the single-phase medium model describing the propagation law of hydro wave in porous media is established.The model is solved by the finite element method,as well as the propagation law of stress wave stimulated by the hydro wave is obtained.In addition,the propagation law affected by the frequency is discussed.It is considered that the best effect can be achieved only by utilizing wave with low frequency in water injection with hydro wave.
