Completion & cementing technologies for well Dongyan-1

  • During the process of exploration and development,high-purity underground halite reserves reaches five billion tons in Dongying area.Well Dongyan-1 is the first halite well in Shengli Oilfield with designed depth reaching 3200m.Underground halite distribution can be further proved by drilling and exploration,which is favorable for developing halite.Complicated geological conditions have led to several times of technological difficulties including leakage,shale swelling and hole shrinkage,well kick,and severe inrush of oil and gas.Completion operation hence gets more difficult.To solve such problems,technological research is conducted on completion technology,tools,and cement slurries.When circulation of cased well is blocked up,processes will be optimized,design will be upgraded,and measures will be improved to ensure the quality of cement sealing and satisfy the need of halite exploitation.Completion and cementing technologies for oil exploitation is primarily and comprehensively applied to completion of halite wells and great success is obtained,which is of great significance to halite development.
