New radial drilling technologies

  • 摘要: 新型径向钻井技术可为低渗透、稠油、老油田和边际油气提供一种经济高效地开采途径。与早期径向钻井技术相比,新型径向钻井技术无须套管锻铣和扩眼,提高了施工作业效率,该技术可在Ø177.8 mm 套管内完成从垂直转向水平,钻出直径50 mm,长度达100 m 的水平井段,作业井垂深达到了3592.5 m.。介绍了新型径向钻井技术的原理、工艺和设备,分析了径向钻井技术在低渗透井、低产井、稠油井和二次开发井中的应用效果,并针对该技术现场应用出现的问题及其发展趋势提出了一些建议。

     

    Abstract: The new radial drilling technology provides an economic and high-efficiency method to recover remaining hydrocarbonresources from low permeability, high viscosity, mature oilfields, marginal oil and gas. Compared with the initial technology, withoutcasing milling and borehole enlargement, the new one improves the operating efficiency sharply. It cuts holes 100 m horizontally intothe prospective producing formation with a 50 mm diameter. The vertical depth of the well in operation reaches 3592.5 m. In this paper,the principle, equipments and processes of the new radial drilling technology are presented, the application of the technology to the lowpermeability well, the low productivity well, the high viscosity well and the well under secondary development is discussed. In addition,some problems of the technology in field application and the development trend are proposed.
