Abstract: Collision accidents during the process of vertical well section drilling can be easily produced in cluster directional wells. Taking Z148-X 6 well as an example, the whole handling process of wellbore collision accidents are discussed form the aspects of how the accident happened, the reason and the technical measures of the accident, et al. lots of beneficial revelations have been gained from the accident. The successful treatment of this wellbore collision accident not only save the life of two offshore oil and gas wells, but also provides important reference for solving the kind of accident. The experience of handling this accident points out the study direction to solve the problem for the future.
