煤层气分支水平井地质导向实践与认识

Practice and cognition of multi-branched horizontal well geo-steering in CBM well

  • 摘要: 为满足低成本开发煤层气的需要,渤海钻探公司首次尝试采用综合录井与MWD结合实施煤层气羽状分支水平井钻探。通过分析煤层特点,优选导向参数组合,建立水平段地质导向工作流程,研究实践近钻头围岩识别与轨迹控制技术,保证了2口先导试验井的顺利完成。ZP02井MWD钻进井段见煤进尺3105 m,煤层钻遇率88.08%;ZP05井见煤进尺3169 m,煤层钻遇率89.40%。2口试验井的钻探成功表明应用综合录井与MWD结合实施煤层气羽状分支井钻探是切实可行的。

     

    Abstract: In order to develop the coal bed methane reservoir in low cost, comprehensive mud logging combining with MWD was first conducted in feather-shaped multi-branched horizontal wells drilling by Bohai Drilling Engineering Company in 2010. Through analyzing characteristics of coal bed, optimizing oriented parameters combination, building geo- steering workflow to study and practice surrounding rock recognition and trace controlling technologies near the bit. And based on that, the preliminary trial in 2 wells is performed successfully. The depth was 3105 m in Well ZP02 while drilling with coal bed and probability of penetration was up to 88.08%, meanwhile, while drilling with coal bed in Well ZP02 the depth was 3169 m and probability of penetration was 89.4%. The successful application in these 2 wells has showed that comprehensive logging and MWD combination must be feasible in drilling feather-shaped multi-branched horizontal well.
