Role of polymer in polymer/foam combinational profile controlling and flooding technology

  • 摘要: 为了研究聚合物在聚合物-泡沫复合调驱技术中对泡沫的稳定性和泡沫再生能力影响规律,针对海上油田聚合物-泡沫复合体系ES-70/O12,采用Waring-Blender方法对体相泡沫中聚合物的稳泡作用进行了实验研究,并通过长填砂模型分别对泡沫体系进行加聚合物和不加聚合物条件下的封堵性对比实验。结果表明:在57 ℃下,加入1000 mg/L聚合物SNF3640,泡沫半衰期从12.5 min 提高至58.0 min;相同条件下,聚合物-泡沫体系的封堵能力高于相应的泡沫体系,其封堵能力分别达到3.2 MPa/m、1.8 MPa/m,但是聚合物提高了泡沫生成的临界注入速度,降低了低速下泡沫的再生能力,不利于油藏深部的泡沫调驱。因此,采用聚合物-泡沫进行油藏深部调驱时,需要降低聚合物浓度,增加泡沫再生能力。

     

    Abstract: In order to study the influence of polymer on stability and regeneration ability of foam during polymer/foam combinational profile control and flooding technology, aiming at polymer/foam compound system ES-70/012 for offshore oilfield profile control and flooding, gas bubble stabilization of polymer in bulk foam was researched using Waring-Blender method. Furthermore, comparative studies on the sealing of foam and polymer/foam system were conducted by long sand-packed pipe mode respectively. The experimental results show that half-life of foam has increased from 12.5 minutes to 58.0 minutes by adding 1000 mg/L polymer SNF3640 under conditions of 57 degree. Under the same conditions, the sealing of polymer/foam system was better than that of corresponding foam system, and the average blocking capacity were up to 3.2 MPa/m and 1.8 MPa/m respectively. On the other hand, polymer increased the critical injecting rate of foam-forming and decreased the ability of foam regeneration at low injecting rate which were unfavorable for foam profile controlling and flooding in deep reservoir. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce concentration of polymer and enhance the regeneration of foam in polymer/foam combinational deep profile controlling and flooding.
