Abstract: Wenchang 15-1 is an oil field soon put into production.Analyses of the 3 exploration and appraisal wells show relatively great horizontal changes of thickness and lithology.Information of well logging and geology was fully used to identify 2 sedimentary facies,4 intrafacies and 11 microfacies.The oil-bearing reservoir was recognized as distributary channel sand body of shore delta front influenced by tidal flow which is the main exploration target.Based on this,distribution range of the oil-bearing reservoir was predicted combined with analysis results of multi-attribute lumping and flow direction in the well points,which provides a new and important foundation for the incoming development and geometric well arrangement.
