Abstract: Currently in Jianghan Oilfield,there are many oil-producing wells where the salinity of formation water is relatively high,the salt is apt to deposit and thus sticks the pump and the string,and the casing leakage often occurs.For the purpose of removing salt by blending water in this kind of wells,a new string,which can not only plug the casing leakage section,but also remove the deposited salt by blending water,is developed.It mainly consists of Y341 and Y221 straddle leakage-plugging packers,stainless steel water-blending pipe and oil well pump.The Y341 and Y221 packers are used to plug the leakage section,and then fresh water is blended on the ground to the bottom of the tail pipe via casing-tubing annulus and the stainless steel water-blending pipe and dilutes the well fluid,finally removing the salt deposit.The successful test in three wells shows that this kind of new string can not only plug the leakage section,but also remove the deposited salt,and moreover,extend the working life of the production string.
