Improving well productivity through sand management

  • 摘要: 通过对地层的出砂机理分析,论述了出砂对地层孔渗结构的影响过程,介绍了出砂管理技术提高油井产能的实例,总结分析了出砂管理涉及的主要技术内容以及国内开展该技术研究的意义和前景,提出了实施出砂管理技术研究的模式。对开展疏松砂岩油藏出砂管理技术提高油井产能研究有借鉴意义。

     

    Abstract: Sand management is a new concept different from cold production and traditional sand control technique.It permits some sand to be produced to surface with fluid through reliable analysis and effective monitoring of sand influx.This technology can improve well productivity because of self-cleanup associated with the episodic sand bursts that take place.This paper analyses the sand production mechanism and its influence on formation porosity and permeability,presents some field cases that applied sand management to increase well production rates,and discusses the analysis and design tools that are needed for sand management.Ideas on how to apply sand management to improve well productivity in unconsolidated sandstone reservoir in our country are put forward.
