新型PDC钻头设计与现场试验

Design and test of PDC bit with new structure

  • 摘要: 为充分发挥PDC钻头在软到中硬地层钻进时钻速高、寿命长的特点,同时减少大尺寸PDC钻头钻进扭矩大的不足,进行了PDC钻头新型结构研究,以提高深井大尺寸井眼钻井速度。针对深井开孔尺寸较大的特点,对PDC钻头几何结构和切削结构进行了分析研究,提出了新型切削结构理论——钻扩型切削结构,该结构特点可降低PDC钻头的破碎功,改变切削力的分布,从而达到提高钻速、减小扭矩的目的。根据该理论设计、制造出的PDC钻头,在上部地层的大尺寸井眼钻进中取得了较好的应用效果,扩大了PDC钻头的应用范围。现场试验结果证明,新型切削结构设计降低了钻进大尺寸井眼的扭矩,合理地分配了破碎能量,提高了钻头稳定性和钻柱的抗振性,降低了钻头回旋趋势,从而达到较高的机械钻速和较好的定向控制。

     

    Abstract: To make use of the advantages of the higher drilling speed and the more footage,and to cut the shortage of the higher torque of PDC bit while drilling in the formation from soft to medium hard,this paper carried on an investigation in the PDC bit structure so as to improve the drilling speed in big size hole.Aim at the characteristics of the big size hole in deep well, the geometric and cutting structures of PDC bit was analysed and studied,and put forward the new structure theories that drill a small hole,and ream it.The new structure can reduce the broken power and change the distribution of cutting forces of the PDC bit,then hoisting the drilling-speed.According to the theories,the new design and manufacture of the bit were developed,and have obtained the good applied result in big size hole in the upper formation,which broaden the application scale of the PDC bit.The field test shows that the new technique lowers the torque,assigns the broken energy reasonably,increases the stability of bit and anti-vibration of the drill pipe,reduces the whirling tendency of bit,thus,reaches the level of higher drilling speed and better steering control.
